Are you interested in learning more about the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center? If so, please join us for a Get Centered! Tour. This free one-hour tour will provide you with a general overview of the programs and services offered at the Center.

All tours will begin at the McDonald/Wright Building, 1625 N. Schrader Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90028. [map]

Get Centered! Ambassador 101 Training

What is an Ambassador?

An L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center Ambassador introduces our organization to new people in the community by recruiting them to attend our Get Centered! Tour. The qualifications are simple...all we ask is that you have a passion for our mission to empower, heal, lead and advocate for the LGBT community.

In order to become an official Ambassador, we ask you to:

• Attend at least one “Get Centered!” Tour
• Recruit ten or more guests to attend a “Get Centered!” Tour
• Recruit one person to become an Ambassador

Getting Started

Step 1: Attend a “Get Centered!” Tour. More information about upcoming dates and how to sign up are at the top of this page.

Step 2: Attend an Ambassador 101 Training.
These 90 minute orientations are held monthly and equip an ambassador with a toolkit and the skills to be successful.
