COLAGE is the only national organization in the world specifically supporting children, youth and adults with LGBT parents. COLAGE offers a diverse array of support, education and advocacy by and for folks with LGBT parents.
Family Equality CouncilFamily Equality Council is the national organization that connects, supports and represents the 1 million parents in this country who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) and the 2 million children they are raising. With offices in Boston, Washington D.C. and Minneapolis, Family Equality Council supports over 100 LGBT parenting groups nationwide and represents a base of nearly 80,000 supporters.
Maybe Baby is a co-gender group for LGBT prospective parents that meets to learn about and discuss various topics about forming a family. For more information, including topics and meeting time and location, please send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Next FamilyThe Next Family is a website involving a diverse community where modern families meet. It is the start of an on-going open-minded and sincere dialogue between same-sex parents, urbanite families, adoptive families, in vitro parents, interracial families, single parents, etc. This site provides blogs, products, resources and an advice column. The Next Family is the foundation of future families.
The Pop Luck ClubThe Pop Luck Club is a Los Angeles-based organization of gay dads that is the largest known gay fathers organization in the world, with hundreds of families and continued strong growth. Its mission is to advance the well-being of gay prospective parents, gay parents, and their children. They do this through mutual support, community collaboration, and public understanding.
Straight Spouse NetworkThe Straight Spouse Network is a worldwide organization of current/ former heterosexual spouses/partners of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender mates and mixed-orientation couples. Members provide personal, confidential support and resource information to spouses, couples and families.
Support groups, family events and other L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center services help families with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parents build strong, vibrant communities. Your children can meet others with experiences like their own while you create a support system among a diverse group of LGBT parents.
Through the Center’s Family Services program, you’ll meet people with various family structures, gender identities and expressions, races and cultural backgrounds, incomes, abilities and religions. By helping LGBT-parented families share commonalities and learn about differences, Family Services helps build a stronger community, one family at a time.

- A prospective parents workshop, presented by Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency and Raise A Child, covering the foster care and adoption process
- A round table workshop for fathers
- A panel discussion, featuring GBTQ fathers sharing their parenting stories

Weekly Support Group for Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Dads
Project Fatherhood of Children's Institute, Inc., in conjunction with the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Family Services Program, is proud to announce the start of a new, weekly parent support group for GBTQ dads!
Interested in meeting other GBTQ dads? Looking for a safe space to have open and honest conversations about topics relevant to your parenting experience? Welcome to the Project Fatherhood GBTQ dads support group! Each meeting features a specific parenting topic and provides an open space for fathers to share their struggles, triumphs, and creative strategies and techniques that they have encountered on the journey through parenthood.

NEW LGBTQ Special Needs Support Group!
In collaboration with The Center Long Beach, The Center OC, and The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Family Services Program, we will be offering a safe and affirming space where LGBTQ individuals with special needs (cognitive and physical) will be able to meet new friends, gain support, and help build a sense of community.
Group Requirements: Participants must be independent or able to provide their own assistance and 18+.

LAWN (Los Angeles Women's Network)
LAWN is a diverse organization of women whose purpose is to create a community that supports the work of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, while enhancing the lives of its memebers personally and professionally by providing opportunities for inspiration, education and networking.

Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles (JBBBSLA)
For 100 years, JBBBSLA has provided FREE, professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring to Jewish boys and girls. "Bigs" and "Littles" are matched based on interests, strengths, needs, geographic proximity, and cultural and religious practices. Volunteers spend quality time with their littles, engaging in fun outings that are usually recreational, cultural or educational.
